"No other class is as deep and as personalized..."
Jan 10, 2017Guillaume was in exactly the right place to set his graphic facilitation business up for success. He shares his experience —
"Attending the Lab in Chicago was by far the best investment I made when I launched my own practice.
Brandy opened her door to generously share decades of experience, let us explore in a safe environment, and pointed us to essential principles that she demonstrated first hand.
We could ask her any question.
No other class is as deep and as personalized in the field of graphic facilitation."

Admission to The Lab is not limited to graphic facilitators.
In fact, about one-third of my fellow 'lab partners' come from this specific profession. Two-thirds from every other type of work: educators, librarians, project managers, business analysts, facilitators, entrepreneurs.
There are always the right elements in the 6 people who join me to create great chemistry in our 3 days together.
No doubt if you are a graphic facilitator, graphic recorder, visual facilitator, or scribe — or working to become one — my immersive workshop is THE place to be.
As Guillaume says, my decades of professional experience are for you to borrow. Ask me anything.
My favorite transformations to see in The Lab are:
- Seeing a lab partner's confidence bloom and skills soar in just 3 days.
- Watching someone ask a question, then immediately try and experiment, discovering the answer for themselves.
- Witnessing those who had hit a plateau in their practice breaking through to a whole new level.
- Giving that nugget of feedback that immediate gets used and see the lab partner's immediate improvement.
- Answering specific conundrums about serving clients and seeing eyes widen as folks see their work and purpose deepen.
- The joy and laughter that comes when we are just nerding out in the work.
How does all this magic happen in The Lab?
I stock our shared space with all the equipment we could need.
We begin Day 1 with the same first experience/experiment that gets us all using the same language.
After that? Our time and agenda emerges from your needs.
Most workshops and instructors have plenty to present, but that doesn't necessarily meet your needs. Sadly, many teachers aren't so expert, so they are constrained by what they know. They can't field specific questions or scenarios. And lack the ability to share personalized, constructive feedback.
There is no hit-or-miss or wasting time, money, or energy in The Lab. You've got three full days of access to my wealth of experience, the rich conversation among us, and the space and supplies to try anything your heart desires.
