Welcome
On a warm October day, Gwen Costa and Dan Jacobsohn said, "Let's go apple-picking." I was game. We went to Curtis Orchard - a charming family owned orchard with lots of extras. It includes a petting zoo, a corn maze, a shop, a counter to buy apple donuts and cider (mmmmmmm), pumpkins to pick, rows of apples to pick. Dan very astutely observed that this place is just like Kid's America - a book that both Dan and I grew up with and cherished. Both are American and folksy and bucolic with doses of nature, games and fun.
